Cuba-Rushford Middle School

Mr. Volz's Teen Leadership Class and the Cuba-Rushford Friends of Rachel group has organized this project. Their money drive, with the help of those at the Rushford Elementary School, raised $1600 for Food for Haiti Now -- that will be 6,400 meals!!!

Villa Volunteers

Villa Volunteers is a group of Villa Maria College students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who are dedicated to MAKING A DIFFERENCE through service to others.

We are pleased to be part of the efforts to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. We had a bake sale, and are in the process of planning other fundraising efforts. Villa is a drop off site for crutches, walkers, and canes.

BonaResponds

BonaResponds is a volunteer organization with St. Bonaventure University. Founded following Hurricane Katrina, the group continues to provide disaster relief as well as service to the local area. Whether a student, alumni, faculty, staff, parent, or community member, all are welcome. The Daemen College Student Physical Therapy Association has been working with Villa Volunteers to collect crutches and walkers to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

The Daemen College Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) is an organization of physical therapy students within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Daemen College. The purpose of this organization is to unite students who are members of this organization in a spirit of inclusiveness, cooperation and initiative through educational, service and social activities. The organization will provide opportunities for members to enhance their academic and clinical knowledge of Physical Therapy and related fields, develop members professional, leadership and mentor skills, establish and maintain standards for the government of its student body, raise the prestige of the Physical Therapist on the college campus, and promote service to the community (department, college, profession, community).
